| Guillermo: | Salvador de Madariaga y Rojo fue un diplomático y escritor español. En 1934 fue sucesivamente ministro de Justicia y de Instrucción Pública y Bellas Artes en el Gobierno de la Segunda República. En el año 1928, Madariaga había publicado el ensayo de psicología comparada Englishmen, Frenchmen, Spaniards. En él, el autor identifica ciertas habilidades en los caracteres nacionales inglés, francés y español. Comparándolos, el autor expone que en el reparto de los vicios capitales que todos padecemos, al inglés le tocó más la hipocresía; al francés, la avaricia, y al español, la envidia. |
